In the first one, Meryl is wearing a sports bra with a low cut sleeveless hoodie and Wolfwood's sunglasses. She holds a basketball in one hand and points at Vash and Wolfwood with the other. She calls out, "This one's for my babygirls!" Vash and Wolfwood, who are sitting on the bleachers, look back at her. Wolfwood quietly says "b-babygirl?!" and Vash laughs fondly. Then Meryl is shown next to a basketball hoop, sitting on Milly's shoulders and throwing the ball into the net. When she makes it in Milly does a thumbs up and says, "nice!" There's a bubble showing the bleachers where Vash is clapping and Wolfwood is lighting a cigarette.

The second comic is just Meryl and Wolfwood. He approaches her as she's drinking some water and says, "Hey shortie. If you're done with them, mind givin' 'em back?" Meryl lowers his sunglasses on her face in order to smugly grin at him over the top of the shades. She says, "Oh! These? But don't they make me look pretty cool, lover boy?" Wolfwood looks at her for a second, frowning, confused, and flustered, before snatching them from her and yelling, "Pretty dumb, that's what you are!" Meryl laughs loudly at his heavily blushing face. /end ID]

You're in line waiting for you and your boyfriends coffees, and another woman attempts to shamelessly strut up to your appointed table you and Baro had picked and starts to openly flirt with him (it's worse because she saw the two of you coming into the cafe, hand in hand, but thinks nothing of it obviously). He, of course, being the crude and absolute loyal straightforward boyfriend that he is, immediately shuts her down. Not even bothering her with a simple glance, just casually goes through his phone waiting for his one and only queen, to return with your coffees. And that just stirs up so much pride and love for that brooding brute in your heart. You couldn't ask for a better partner ♥︎

actually i get very emotional when i think about the giant ants arc because when arcos is told that there's an entire colony of monsters that could easily destroy the estate the very first thing he asks is where lloyd is. and when he's told that he's still down in the mine he doesn't hesitate for even one second to grab his armor and go down there himself just to get to lloyd. like. those things are huge and they're vicious and there's hundreds of them and to face them is *checks notes* "to guarantee your own death". arcos hasn't even touched his sword for a decade. he's not winning that battle. but it doesn't fucking matter at all because his son is down there and arcos is going to get to him even if it kills him.

he just. he fucking loves his kid so much. and this is not even like that far ahead into the novel. lloyd is barely beginning to clean up his body's act. this is chapter 25 it's like 6% of the whole plot. and this man was already completely and unhesitatingly willing to die for his son. how am i supposed to not cry about that.

ngl, didn't play EA but I'm poking around datamined dialogue from an EA version- I find it very inchresting, that seemingly, they definitely turned down the dream guardian's like horniness and romantic interest. Like it seems to be implied that at one point the dream guardian like- tries to kiss you during the first encounter, like lots of notes about cheek caress, thigh touching, and leaving you with a smooch souvenir. And then in the morning you get a pretty good idea of who everyone saw (Karlach didn't have a file for it that I saw and Shadowheart's was vague, beyond- "someone she is attracted to") and Gale is funnily enough seems (from my searching) to be the only one who admits that... yeah, he smooched them...

And like, totally get why they turned that down for final release, but god if that was still the case- I would have lowkey tried not to laugh my ass off when who the dream guardian is was revealed and ask Gale how he liked the taste of squid mouth, was it worth it, bud?

Omega knows how to cook but it's only out of pure spite when someone threatened that he couldn't because he's a robot.

Yes, he lit the kitchen on fire too many times while learning, sometimes on purpose because he got bored, sometimes on accident. No, his food is not amazing by any means. It tends to be pretty under-seasoned. But yes, Shadow and Rouge do appreciate his scrambled eggs in the morning and his mac and cheese after a mission.
